Muskie Special
We've taken our award winning S4s 9010/4 and modified it for the special needs of muskie and pike fanatics. Fit with a 4 inch fighting butt to make figure 8's at the boat easy, and with a stiffer tip section to turn over the 1/4 chicken tied to the hook.
This rod is very powerful yet incredibly light in the hand for smooth easy all day casting.

Concepts Review
The new Scott Fly Rod Musky Special has been a tool we have waited a long time for. Being a full time Musky fly fishing guide my clients and I have tried to “make due” with what the industry had to offer, often fatiguing arms and wrists trying to cast huge flies on heavy rods all day and doing figure eights with short butt sections. Thanks to this new design, clients can cast this rod all day and the extended fighting butt makes figure eight hookups and fighting a lot easier and more productive. Catch rates have increased dramatically and we have found people don’t even bother to pick up a different rod for smallmouth, carp or other species. They just keep casting the Musky Special 10 weight.
