Captain Paul Hobby is a 4th generation Floridian and native of the Fort Myers area. He has been a full time professional saltwater fly fishing guide in the Sanibel Island/Fort Myers area since 1991. He chases 100 pound plus tarpon in 4-7 feet of water every spring and considers sight casting to tarpon with a fly rod the ultimate fly fishing experience. Redfish Snook Sea Trout and various other species are also targeted in very shallow waters near Sanibel Island.
